Financial information source Investing.com recently conducted a study. According to its results, it became clear where Russian investors invest the most. We are talking about digital assets, or rather cryptocurrency, which is one of the most rated.
The information portal “Izvestia” was given access to the results of the study. It turned out that more than 50% of the portfolios of non-specialized investors are non-traditional assets, which include antiques, cryptocurrencies, real estate, masterpieces of art, etc.
47% of the country’s investors consider gold to be the most stable asset. Cryptocurrency is one percent behind; respondents consider it a profitable investment to protect their savings. The 3rd place in the rating went to real estate, which got 37%, and the fourth – shares and other securities, and this is 27%.
Anastasia Kosheleva, who heads “Investing.com Russia”, emphasizes that in 2021 the cryptocurrency can be called a trend. At times, it has only become more popular this year. Therefore, it is absolutely logical why Russians invest in one of the most rated digital currencies.
According to Vladimir Ananyev, an analyst at Exante investment company, Russians have collectively invested over $300 billion in cryptocurrencies. up to $500 billion. This indicator has grown to 500% in the current year alone.
The Bank of Russia has recently conducted monitoring of digital transactions. It turned out that Russian citizens carried out transactions on cryptocurrencies for 350 billion rubles in April-October 2021.
