Bitmain and Enegix decided to unite their efforts and build a powerful data center for BTC mining in Kazakhstan with the projected capacity of 50 thousand Antminer S19 Pro devices. Enegix is operating a 180MW facility with enough failsafe measures to ensure stable mining. If the project becomes a reality, it will be the biggest data center for mining.
The spokesperson of Bitmain noticed that Enegix is the most reliable partner and has one of the finest facilities for hosting mining rigs. In response, representatives of Enegix expressed their hope that the collaboration will be mutually beneficial.
Enegix is planning to build more new facilities as demand for computational power is higher than ever after the exodus of Chinese miners. Kazakhstan is currently the most attractive destination for Chinese investors who would like to mine BTC. It is due to both close proximity and cultural commonalities between Kazakhstan and China.
There are also plans of huge giants like Bit Mining to build additional data centers in the country. The university of Cambridge estimates that the share of the country in global BTC mining will increase six-fold within two years if all of the plans go as well as intended.
