InnoSilicon company from China, which develops equipment for computers and mining, has started the implementation of ASIC miners that will allow mining ETH A11 Pro. It turned out that the new equipment does not meet the stated characteristics.
The company’s website has a full description of all the characteristics of ASIC miners. It indicates that the hash rate of the miner is equal to 2,000 Mx/s against the background of energy consumption of 2.5 kW/ h. Such indicators will give 30% more results than the best series of ETH mining devices for today. Distributors from China received A11 Pro ASIC miners this week and were disappointed by the discrepancy between the stated parameters. So, the hash rate in reality is 1,500 Mx/s, and the energy consumption is 2.35 kW/h.
The obtained indicators indicate that the effect of the new ASIC miner is estimated at 1.56 Watts per Mx/s. In the cryptocurrency market, this is the best indicator. But in fact, it turned out to be 20% worse than the characteristics presented by the developer. The cost for one device was announced in the amount of 17 thousand dollars. At the same time, distributors sell it for 27 thousand dollars for 1 pc.
The hash rate of A11 Pro miners of 1,500 Mx/s was also confirmed by the ASIC Miner Value channel, publishing its conclusions on its portal. The site also indicates that this performance concerns the first delivery of ASIC miners.
Bitmain presented its Antminer E9 miner for ETH mining back in April 2021. The characteristics of the device indicated a hash rate of approximately 3,000 Mx/s with an energy consumption of 2,556 W/h. Deliveries haven’t started until today.
