BTC Tools has been a very popular piece of software among miners all across the globe due to its extensive list of features allowing you to manage entire farms consisting of multiple ASIC-units. The program not only allows to manage devices, monitor their performances, and reboot them remotely, but also provides access to multiple tuning options.
What can BTC Tools do?
The program allows you to perform a wide spectrum of actions to manage ASIC-units:
Gathering statistics and monitoring statuses of all ASICs connected to one network, viewing any metrics including temperatures, fan speeds, and others.
Sorting devices based on various parameters including current performance metrics. It allows you to quickly identify overheating or underperforming devices.
Monitoring all connected devices in real time without any lags and data losses. It is a great way to efficiently manage your devices.
Concurrent editing of settings of many ASICs. You can either manage groups of devices or choose different pools of devices to work with.
Rebooting multiple devices at one. You can even reboot the whole farm if you need which is great when you have a bunch of machines that must be rebooted after a software update.
LPM stands for Low Power Mode and can be activated from the special page in the configuration menu of an ASIC-unit.
You can also change core frequencies and other parameters of your ASIC-units in case when your machine has a special firmware that allows remote control of device parameters.
The program also supports dozens of devices from various manufacturers including Avalon A7, A8, A6, Antminer S17, S7T, S9, and many others.
Using BTC Tools
Before installing the program, make sure that the administrator PC and ASIC-units are in the same network. For example, if you use Wi-Fi, both devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Download the archive BTC Tools – DOWNLOAD. The archive will contain BTC Tools.exe which you must launch on the administrator PC. PASSWORD – HELP
BTC Tools will initiate network analysis and will automatically search for eligible IP-addresses in the network to find ASIC-units that can be connected.
You can also edit the list of eligible IP-addresses manually by clicking in the field containing the addresses. Use the “+” button to add an address or “-“ to remove one.
How to search for ASIC-units using BTC Tools
Use the “Scan” button in the interface to start searching for devices connected to the network. Scanning may overload the network so make sure to disconnect devices and turn off software that may limit the network’s capacity.
During the process, you will notice that newly found ASIC-units appear in the list. You will see the parameters of these devices in the table including the current status, network address, name of the worker, mode, and hash rates. Various metrics such as temperature, fan speeds, time online, and workers.
Double click on the device’s address will open hardware settings. You will be able to adjust the settings when necessary and reboot devices remotely.
Remote farm management is the main advantage of the software. It significantly reduces time waste and allows miners to adjust and manage your ASIC-units from any geographical location.
